![]() You can follow the advice by with HP recovery or my preferred option is to perform a clean install by creating a bootable USB drive from Microsoft site. If all is good you can then reinstall the OS. Try the fast test, or at least the hard drive test. Turn on PC and repeatedly keep pressing ESC until the startup menu appears and then press F2 to enter diagnostics. Turn off the PC by holding the power button. Is there a reason you are performing the reset? Where you have problems with the notebook? First you could check if the Hardware is "good" by performing a fast system test at boot. Turn off the PC by holding power button and then try starting again, see if the reset continues.
